Infrastructural Facility/Future Expansion

1. MIST is blooming in the beautiful, pollution-free, calm and quiet environment at Mirpur Cantonment. This institute combined with National Defense College (NDC) and Defense Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) form the much-talked-about "Mirpur Academic Village."

2. Army Headquarters have allotted a beautiful area of (about 40 acres of land) along with few important buildings for MIST.  Some more land has also been earmarked on the eastern side of the lake for construction of residential accommodation.  

3. A master plan has already been drawn for MIST with different elements like academic block (having 4 faculty tower buildings) and one multipurpose building (comprising Auditorium, Library, Prayer Hall and Cafeteria)
