CATS-MIST (CE): Feasibility Study for Construction of Roads/Flyovers/Bridges to Connect Mirpur 12 with Uttara South Metro Station and Uttara Third Phase
The project aims to improve the connectivity between Mirpur and Uttara 3rd Phase, while facilitating the restoration of DOHS lake. There are two major components: Connectivity-1, which links Mirpur 12 to Uttara South Metro Station through several proposed elevated alignment alternatives, and Connectivity-2, which connects Mirpur/Shagufta to Uttara-17. It includes evaluating alignment options, required land acquisition, demolishment impacts, traffic performance, and environmental conditions. The study identifies the most feasible routes that ensure safer, faster, and more efficient movement between Mirpur and the expanding Uttara 3rd Phase.
