MIST FACULTY RECEIVE OBE CURRICULUM TRAINING FROM IAB
Asst. Prof. Shafinaz Sameen, Lec. Arfa Islam and Lec. Tarana Tabassum, three faculty members from the Department of Architecture, MISTreceived training on the Outcome Based Education curriculum from the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB) on 17 January 2026.
The training helped the faculty understand the principles of Outcome Based Education and how to use them in teaching. OBE is important because it ensures courses help students gain the skills and knowledge needed for the architecture profession. It also improves teaching, learning, and assessment methods.This training reflects the department’s commitment to providing quality education and preparing students for the professional world.
