Centre for Advisory and Testing Services-MIST (EWCE), also known as CATS-MIST (EWCE), began its journey in 2018 to bridge academic knowledge with real-world applications. Through testing and consultancy, it enriches the faculty's expertise and experience while contributing to national development. CATS-MIST (EWCE) has completed numerous national-level projects in both military and civil arenas. With strong global connections, CATS-MIST (EWCE) services encompass a wide range of fields, including feasibility studies, Environmental Quality testing and Monitoring, ESIA, Riverbank Protection, and Hydro-Morphological Feasibility Studies, among others.

Since its inception, projects that have been conducted by CATS-MIST (EWCE) are listed below:

•           EIA Study for Establishing Eco-tourism Park in Sonadia Island of Cox's Bazar (Duration: 2021 to 2022)

•           Water Modelling and Hydro-Morphological Feasibility Study of Lebukhali Cantonment (Duration: 2015 to 2017)

•           Environmental Monitoring for Dhaka Mass Rapid Transit Development Project (Duration: 2017 to 2022)

•           River Bank Protection works and Dyke Construction for Sand Filled Islands of Lebukhali Cantonment (Duration: 2017 to 2018)

•           Detailed Technical Feasibility Study for Integrated Development of Swarnadeep (Duration: 2014 to 2016)

•           Water Logging Problem and Drainage Network Design of Mymensingh Cantonment (Duration: 2016 to 2019)

•           Feasibility, ESIA and RAP for the Development of Tangail Economic Zone (Duration: 2022 to 2024)
